The beef and lamb at Havana Grill are cut and stored in separate preparation areas. We use only SA Grainfed Super Beef, which is hung on the rail for up to 8 days, cut and then vacuum packed for 21 days to age. T-bone steaks are dry aged. Larger than standard menu cuts are available on request. A particular speciality is the “Capo” (lid of the Rump) which is salted and rubbed with olive oil, grilled whole, then sliced and served with Chimichurri, an Argentine coriander salsa. We also specialise in fresh line fish, prawns, langoustines and crayfish when available.
Havana Grill & Wine Bar is about wine, vibe and cigars. We have an extensive wine list specialising in some of South Africa’s best known wines. All our cigars are imported from Cuba. The restaurant seats up to 250 people which includes an 80 seat, well ventilated smoking area with views and a 60 seat enclosed glass deck which is unaffected by weather. Both these areas are very popular venues for functions.
